Pat Halpern (R) GRI, CRS

Real Estate is my second career, following 25 years as a teacher. Born and educated on the mainland, Hawaii has been home since 1965 when I first came to Hilo to train for Peace Corp/Thailand.

A few years later, I met and married Gil Halpern who was born and raised in Honolulu. We made our home on Oahu until we happily relocated to Hilo in 1987 with our two boys, Casey & Joel. Casey is currently Executive Chef at one of Hilo’s top restaurants while Joel has moved to NY to follow his dream of seeing his name in lights!

In 1989 I became a full time Realtor and have continued striving to better serve my clients by receiving my Broker’s license in 1993 and qualifying for the additional designations of GRI (Graduate Realtor’s Institue) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist). I will work hard to give you the best information necessary to make a wise investment.
